Brittney Jordan, Esq.

Director

Brittney Jordan, Esq., a seasoned legal professional with over 12 years of experience, currently serves as Senior Counsel at the District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency (“DCHFA”). Not only is she a Certified Information Privacy Manager (“CIPM”) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (“IAPP”), but she also acts as the Privacy Subject Matter Expert (“SME”) for the Office of General Counsel (“OGC”) at the Agency. In this capacity, Brittney provides crucial counsel on multifamily affordable housing bond transactions and asset management issues, all while offering expertise and training on privacy-related matters.

A magna cum laude graduate in Political Science from Howard University, Brittney furthered her education with a J.D. from Howard University School of Law. Launching her career at the Council of the District of Columbia, she made history as one of the youngest Chief of Staff appointments at the age of 28, providing legal counsel to two Councilmembers. Subsequently, she served as the legal counsel and Privacy Officer for the District of Columbia Health Benefit Exchange Authority, overseeing the District’s Affordable Care Act (“ACA”) online health insurance marketplace, "DC Health Link."

Beyond her legal roles, Brittney is a passionate advocate for youth empowerment and political engagement, contributing to initiatives at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Recognized as Mrs. DC America First Runner-Up, she has also been featured on the nationally syndicated SiriusXM “Sway in the Morning Show.” Committed to community service, she provides pro bono services as a panelist on the Landlord/Tenant Clinic workshop at Alfred Street Baptist Church. Additionally, Brittney, a certified Barre fitness instructor, extends her interests to health and fitness, reflecting the depth of her multifaceted contributions both in and out of the legal sphere.
