Lunch and Learn- Joining a Board or Recruiting Board Members

So You Want to Join a Nonprofit Board or you want to recruit a new board member for your organization? This presentation will focus on the "who, what, why, when and hows" of nonprofit board membership. It will explore the questions potential board members should ask before joining a board, such as 1) what should potential board members look for to make sure they would be successful and have a positive experience, and 2) what are the expectations of board members? And it will focus on how potential board members can use LinkedIn to gather information to find the right organizations to join and how to be better candidates.
