Marie Mann Bibbs is the Principal of Mb2. Mb2 is a specialized consulting practice serving nonprofit community development financial institutions, as well as regulated and community development banks. Cumulatively she has written successful New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) applications totaling $676 million and Financial Assistance, and Bank Enterprise Awards in excess of $10 million. Marie has 30 years of working in the banking industry in executive roles in community development for Truist, Wells Fargo and NCB, and serving as President and CEO of the New Markets entity for City First Bank.

Ms. Bibbs holds a Master of Science in Business from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD and a Master of City Planning from Howard University, Washington, DC. She earned her undergraduate degree at Northeastern University, Boston, MA. Ms. Bibbs was a former Board member and is active with WCCD, she has served as a member of the Housing and Community Development Committee of the American Bankers Association, the Board of Directors of TruFund, Kipp DC Support Corporation and served on the Advisory Board of the Washington, DC LISC.
